What you will learn

  • Why trust is the foundation of every tax relationship
  • How to show credibility honestly
  • Small actions that build long-term loyalty

Trust comes from consistency

Clients share their income, family and identity with you. They trust you when what you say matches what you do: you call back when you said you would, explain fees clearly and keep their information private.

Show credibility, do not oversell

  • Mention your training, your PTIN and the support of the Nationwide network.
  • Explain the process step by step so nothing is a surprise.
  • Say “I will check and confirm” when you do not know something.

Protect their information

Tell clients how their documents are stored and who will see them. Security is a selling point: it shows you take their data seriously.
